When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I grew up in a Krishna Conscious family with my parents, uncle and grandmother all Bhraman Initiated by His Holiness Krishna Maharaj (2nd June 1932 to 20th July 2016. I had what I would like to call a relationship as a grand child with His Holiness. I used to spend all my school holidays staying in the Iskcon Temple in Phoenix in Mauritius which has the beautiful deities of Sri Sri Radha Golokananda. I was going to the gurukul once a week learning Bhagvad Gita verses from the very young age of 7. I have participated in many Drama during occasions such as Krishna Janamashtami, Jagganath Rathyatra, Rama Nawmi just to name a few. I had the honour to have many high personalities staying at my parents house growing up including few sanyasis. And as a son to a temple president in Mauritius for few years, I got to learn quite a bit of the untold stories and how they are dealt with etc both good and bad. I had distanced myself from iskcon for a few years but it has been around 1 year now that I can say I made a come back. And as goes the saying, people only think of Krishna when they are in distress, which was my case. Now I feel I had to go into the material world have a taste of that material life and realized that it is not for me. Now I come back stronger and would like to say better that what was was before. I like to lead projects and hand them over to others to continue once the project stabilises. I have a dream to dedicate my life to the service of Krishna himself, either through Kirtan, Harinam or Food for Life.

What are your expectations from this community?

Help me grow in my Krishna conscious life. I definitely do not want to hear of any other people negativity. Let Krishna himself be the judge of their deeds.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Kirtan Harinam ( Padayatra) Food for life Bring everyone/ everything that links to Krishna consciousness under one roof, as I like to call it the Amazon of devotional life. From clothing, paraphernalia, music instruments, priest for different ceremonies, counselling, therapy etc.
