Please accept my humble obeisances!!

I am radharani DD, Could you please help me to know to get rid from chemicals like iron and calcium during pregnancy, which karmi doctors force to take. And also please let me know If TIFFA scanning etc.. are compulsory or we can avoid it, as per i know there are radiation side effect of such type of scanning. It will be very helpful if you can provide information of a genuine Ayurveda hospital (in Hyderabad) where Ayurveda gynecologist doctors are available.

I will be very thankful for help.

Yours in service of Nityananda!! Gauranga!!

    Good Sources of Calcium

    • Milk and dishes made with milk, such as potato soup, puddings
    • Cheeses like mozzarella, cheddar, Swiss, and Parmesan
    • yughurt
    • Leafy greens of the cabbage family, such as kale, mustard greens, and turnip tops, and pak choi.
    • Tofu, if processed with calcium sulfate
    • Tortillas made from lime-processed corn
    • Some Good Sources of Iron

      • Leafy greens of the cabbage family, such as broccoli, kale, turnip greens, collards; lima beans, green peas; dry beans and peas, such as pinto beans, black-eyed peas, and canned baked beans
      • Yeast-leavened whole wheat bread and rolls
      • Iron-enriched white bread, pasta, rice, and cereals.
      • Legumes, spinach, nuts, seeds, potato skins, hearts of palm, pumpkin, beets, dried fruit and blackstrap molasses are all sources of non-heme iron.
      • Vitamin C and organic acids found in fruits and veggies boost non-heme iron absorption when eaten in the same meal. Vitamin C rich foods include spinach, red peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, parsley, strawberries, papaya, mango and citrus fruits.
      • Absorption of non-heme iron is lessened by tannins found in tea, fiber and calcium supplements, and phytic acids in foods. If you’re at risk for iron deficiency, a little forethought and planning is all you need. Save the tea (black and green) for an hour after a meal. Take fiber and calcium supplements away from iron-rich foods. Soak and sprout nuts, seeds and grains to remove phytic acid. What’s phytic acid you ask? Phytic acid or phytates are natural substances found in nuts, seeds and grains that are beneficial to the plant but also bind to minerals like calcium and iron, hindering absorption. Soaking overnight (8 hours) in water plus a squeeze of lemon juice helps release the phytic acid. Nuts and seeds can then be dried in a dehydrator or on the lowest setting in the oven for several hours. Add spices and herbs for a tasty treat.

but i wil personally recommend you to go by what your physician says.. pregnancy s a very vital time, a small mistake cn cause big problems, .. thank you.. and its not antidevotional to take iron and calcium peels.. and all the doctors are well acquinted with all the adverse effect of procedures on baby as well as mother. have faith on them.. hk..
