Why does the impersonalist want Krsna and only Krsna and nobody else?
Because Krsna is the Supreme Lord and if Krsna is the Supreme Lord and I want something from Krsna and who can give me? Krsna can give me. So, He is the most powerful person and if somebody is in a wanting mode then he is thinking who can give me? He is a jivatma. He is a jivatma. Anu anu anu. Oh! That person is vibhu. That person is the greatest person. Krsna is the greatest person. If I please Krsna enough then I can get what I want from Him, either materially or spiritually. Materially I can get riches from Laxmi pati and Spiritually I can get Liberation. I can just merge into Him. No more birth, old age, disease and death. So, those who are in a wanting mode, they will always scan that who has the power to give and who has no power to give. I will selectively pursue only with that person who has the ability to give.

What about a devotee?
A devotee atleast prays for the mood not to get from Krsna even if he wants to get artha, he wants relief. Even if he is an artharthi he is taught to give. You give something and Krsna will reciprocate. He is taught to give to Krsna. So, when you are in the process of giving, your mood is of giving, then you do not scan who is the greatest and who is not the greatest. Why? Because if you actually start to give then you will realize that there are many hands that are open in front of you to receive. It is only when you start to ask that the fists close. If you have something in your hands or fists and you just go around then you'll see many palms that were closed open up. You will see that when you are in the mood of giving then you will see that here many are ready and eager to receive. So, you will understand that it's not just my one to one relationship with Krsna, I cannot neglect the devotees of Krsna. So, thats why only a devotee can be interested in the social aspect of personalism.
