Before I speak, I would take the blessings of Rasamandala Prabhu who is a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupad and also of my friends.

Here we can see how Lord Krsna is saying that how ordinary people respect only the obvious forms of Divinity as My deity. But they don't appreciate the brahmanas and the spiritual master, the guru or a Vipra.

So, to have the recognition of a special form is ordinary. And those with special vision can see Divinity in the ordinary.

So the deity of the Lord is there on the altar and it is separate from the rest of the temple hall. Even if an ordinary person comes here he sees and understands that this place is special. That form is special and all the other forms on this side are different. And everyone is offering a lamp to that Person in that direction. So even an ordinary person can see that this form is special.. But it takes special vision to see the Divinity in an ordinary way. This is the struggle for all of us. Most of us, as Lord Krsna is mentioning are oblivious or obvious.
