Happiness is like Angur and miseries are like bhopla

When I was new in Krsna Consciousness I heard one very nice story told by Sarvabhauma Prabhu.

One man goes to a hotel and he sees the menu. He orders Angur bhople ki sabji. The Waiter gets the dish. When he is eating he doesn't find any Angur inside.

Man : Angur kidhar Hai is me?
Waiter : daala hai sir.
Man : Ek Angur nahi dikh raha hai.
Waiter : Daala hai sir.
Man : Kidhar Hai dikhao?
Waiter : 50-50% daala hai sir.
Man : Arey is me tho Ek Angur nahi dikhta hai.
Waiter : Ek bhople ke liye Ek Angur daala hai sir.

He said 50-50%. Then Ek bhopla Ek Angur.

This is material life. Here happiness is like Angur and miseries is like bhopla.

You know this chooda and kishmish. In order to eat one kishmish you have to eat so much of chooda. And that damn kishmish keeps us attached to eating that chooda.

And the greatest problem with this material life is, when we think we are happy, it keeps us attached to this material life.

Prabhupad says that the greatest Anartha is to think that I'm happy.
