What is free will? I have read about it in blogs but not understood clearly.Can u explain it in simple words?

Soul is insignificant. It can not be fully independent. Our free will is to choose from whom to be dependent.

From Krishna or

From Maya Devi - material energy.

For example, Krishna says to Arjuna to fight but Arjuna says that he will live as a brahmana in the forest and ask for alms.

But Krishna says, if You do not do Your own duty according to Your nature now under my will then even though you will in the forest some day your nature will come out.

And by nature you are worrier. And that time even though you will fight. But that time you will be under the material energy.

i am not sure if i could explain it to You nicely.

Because by nature Arjuna was warrior for 13 years he used to live in the forest as a brahmana but even though used to fight. In this way better to be depended on Krishna by doing our own duty now for Krishna rather than rejecting it and after some time accidentally do something by the force of material energy.

So Krishna says become a nice writer and think of Me! Then why not to do it?

In this way comes natural detachment. By performing our duties for Krishna we will become detached.

Free will is to choose WHETHER TO BE MAYA'S OR KRISHNA'S SERVANT. No other freedom.

But to be a servant of Krishna is only real independence.

Why?

Because Krishna gives Himself to those who love Him. As like Mother Yashoda. She used to control Krishna - who is the Controller of everything.
