How can we rectify our parents'mistakes and prohibit them from doing sinful things? When children are grown up and when they point out their parents'mistakes, that hurts them really bad. That what I am referring to, mataji.

In my case, I am trying a lot to make my parents undertsnad if they have done anything wrong, but it will always end up in me crying with their words. I feel so helpless sometimes. I know thye are doing wrong, but I am not able to rectify them. I also want them to come to Krishna's path. I am also praying to Krishna to show them the right path.

You can preach to them by Your good behaviors. As parents they consider themselves elder than You and You as a child and because of that they want some respect for themselves.

Because of that we should give all respect to our parents. In Bhagavad Gita Krishna says that one should do austerity of a body one of which means to respect seniors as like Parents, Guru and God.

And try to serve them. For example, wash for them, cook for Krishna then feed them...seeing Your good qualities they will be pleased and will accept Your opinions.

i had also problem with religion with my parents but i used to pray for them, feed them with Prasadam, speak nicely politely ...and now i can even preach to them and also chant near to them. They do not stop me from going to the Temple, or even to get marry to a Devotee.

In this way Krishna can help You Mataji. Please pray to Him and use the next golden rules in every Your action:

TO BE HUMBLE THAN A BLADE OF GRASS

TOLERANT THAN A TREE

ALWAYS RESPECT OTHERS

AND NOT TO WAIT FOR RESPECT TO OURSELVES.

In this way Devotee becomes dear to everyone and everyone becomes dear to him.
