I wish to join Saturday's Girls voice but my parents concern is that you won't be able to balance both this class as well your studies.First you concentrate on studies then you may join these classes.But I am devoid of devotee association.How do I convince my parents?

Interesting! If You go only for one day to the Temple is it true that You will go back in Your studies?! I do not think so.

When i studied my first education computer science i used to stay at the Temple and go to the University. i could attend all morning, evening programs and plus study. Here we should ourselves be very eager to associate with Devotees. And the Krishna in the heart of Your parents will let You go.

In every thing Krishna wants to see our determination to achieve Him. He gives obstacles just to see our efforts of how we brake up this obstacles and reach Him. As like at nights Krishna used to play His flute in the forest of Vrindavan. And hearing this sound all married, unmarried gopis left everything they were doing, some of them were milking their children, some of them sleeping, some of them applying cosmetics, some of them cleaning....but they left everything and run towards Krishna.

In Vedic culture chastity is the for most thing for women but for Krishna's sake they even left their chastity by leaving home at late night. But when they came to Krishna Krishna told them to go back and stay at home. They started to cry. "We left everything just to please You dear Krishna, and to see You. Please do not neglect us. If You do not accept us then we will leave our bodies." In this way Krishna wanted to see how much they have desire to serve to Him.

There was one gopi who was stopped by going to Krishna at home. Then in separation she left her body.

Of course we are not gopis. And for us Krishna doesn't say to leave our parents or jobs. or schools but just chant and be in the association of Devotees. Very little! Because our faith is yet very little. exams are also not so hard.

Hope this will help You to make nice decisions. Try to be polite with Your parents and explain to them that You will study well and also will associate with Devotee friends.
