Pranada Comtois, author of the book The Bhakti Trilogy, has launched a comprehensive new YouTube series called “Exploring Bhakti” to provide modern seekers with a systematic and accessible introduction to the philosophy and practice of Bhakti. The series addresses a significant gap in online resources for those seeking to understand Bhakti philosophy in a methodical, comprehensive manner.

Pranada explained that the inspiration came after noticing the lack of quality content online. She explained, “I was doing some research online and, on a whim, did a search on YouTube for ‘What is Bhakti?’ I was surprised that the search results didn’t come up with many options. There was a short animation produced by someone with impersonal leanings that made the topic look trivial, and a Buddhist who tried to give a definition but clearly had only a very vague idea what Bhakti was.” While she found some good content from a Krishna bhakta sannyasi, there was nothing systematic that helped viewers make sense of Bhakti as a complete philosophy.

This observation aligned with feedback Pranada received from readers of her book The Bhakti Trilogy, who expressed similar disappointment in finding thorough, reliable information about Bhakti online. “They said they would really appreciate a place to get a thorough overview of Bhakti,” she noted. “Providing a systematic, concise, easy-to-understand explanation of Bhakti’s timeless wisdom and universal principles for modern seekers became my goal.”
