God is manifesting us from Himself for the purpose of enjoying unique, personal, eternal, loving relationships with each and every one of us. Just as a child who foolishly runs away from the home of his loving parents creates all kinds of difficulties for himself, we become entangled in all kinds of karmic reactions when we foolishly run away from God's kingdom to become wandering vagabonds here in the cycle of birth and death. Just as it is not the fault of the loving parents when the foolish child runs away from home, it is also not the fault of the all-merciful God when his foolish children abandon His kingdom to try to enjoy separately from Him here in this material world. |
