Hare Krsna
Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada
Having modern education or related literary skill does not mean, proper awareness of Vedic dharma.
For instance, Professor U.R.Ananthamoorthy’s ( So called, Jnanapith award winner) stated today, “ Both Narendra Modi and Sangh Parivar, do not have proper awareness of Vedic dharma like Mahathma Gandhi. In Vedic times cow sacrifice and eating cow meat was common. Only later this stopped because of the need to use the cows for agricultural purpose”.
Anti-vedic people like the Atheists, Communists and Mlechas( meat-eating semetic religions) are praising the above “secular” statement. It is such hypocrites who have deconsecrated the great BhArath.
The reality is :
1. Sri Gandhiji never had a proper Vedic education from a qualified Guru . He just learned it from Books and by trial and error . So, we can see many inconsistencies in his attitude and approach . For instance, just before India’s independence, congress party was deciding the Leader of Nation. Out of the 22 Congress state committees, 19 supported Sri Sardar Patel. Nehru received the support of just 2 states , with one state remaining neutral. Still Gandhiji decided in favor of Nehru . His justification was, “ If I ask Patel to withdraw, he will agree to it. Nehru will not listen to me . So, I decided to have and Nehru to avoid conflict” . Does this act, comply with Vedic-dharma?
2. In certain Vedic Yagas, cows and horses were sacrificed in the sacred fire . But it’s meat was not consumed by anyone. Some *Prasadams* ( remains of Yagas) were accepted by smelling and not by consuming. Demonic anti-vedic People like the scholar mentioned above, are saying lies.
3. Cow is exactly like our own Mother. Anyone killing or eating Cow, is truly killing and eating his own Mother.
4. In a recent survey by Regional Cancer Research Centre Trivandrum it was found that, various types of Cancer are the highest among Cow-eaters . Vegetarians were found to be free from such food-related Cancers.
Bhagavan Sri Krishna says in Srimad Bhagavad Gita (12.13-14):
“Any Person who does not harm ( kill or eat) the living beings ; who is free from false ego as well as the attitude of ‘I’ and ‘Mine’ ; who is equal in both happiness and distress ; who is tolerant, always satisfied, self-controlled, and engaged in ‘Krishna-bhakti’ with determination by having his mind and intelligence fixed on Sri Krishna--such a devotee is very much dear to Me. ”
