It was a sweet AM sadhana program before taking to the trail with Partha and Vyasacharya. Many locals also take advantage of the path by the bay connecting to the Muskoka River. Pedestrians are admiring the fall colours as we are. As taught by our guru, Prabhupada, we are inspired to link it all to Krishna - all that is wondrous.
I was humoured to catch a hint of the popular Hallowe’en when passing by a household with its full-on ghoulish decor and a sign that reads, “Broom Parking 5 cents Witches Only All others will be toad.”
The Huntsville crew running operations for Iskcon are a great group. They are Vyasa, Prajna, Partha and Tilak. Congratulations on your work with the temple and restaurant.
The drive to Sudbury via North Bay was nostalgic, reminding me of the route I took as my first walk cross country in ’96. Mohit from Barrie and manager in the mining industry treated me to walk by Ramsey Lake. Beautiful ! That culminated with a kirtan session and birthday wishes (it is the eve of) from the Sudbury community. They are enthusiastic, respectful, happy. I had the pleasure to read some of my poetry about leadership, partnership and hero/protector, Narasimgha, the Lion Avatar. The feast was just outstanding with broccoli, asparagus and avocado on sour dough bread. What a day !
