The nature of a Vaisnava is that he wants to give Krsna Consciousness to everyone. So each devotee should chant the holy name and spread the glories of the maha-mantra to everyone, and that is preaching. A Vaisnava preaches because he is concerned. A Vaisnava , having a spiritual mission, tries to guide blind people to the path of spiritual advancement.
