I cannot appropriately express the loss I am feeling in separation from His Grace Sruti Dharma Prabhu. My heart is broken. Yet, I am feeling immensely grateful, and blessed, that by Srila Prabhupada’s, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai’s and Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda’s mercy, he is among the dearest friends and spiritual brothers of my life.
Sruti Dharma Prabhu’s love, kindness and generosity are a divine treasure. One that has given light, faith and joy to all of us. He is a well-wisher to everyone, willing to extend himself in any place, at any time to serve all. His unconditional love and surrender confirms our faith and gives us shelter.
In his unassuming, natural devotion to Sri Krishna, he gracefully brought the charm of devotional service to children, students, monks (brahmacari’s), families of all ethnic backgrounds, Gurukulis, Srila Prabhupada disciples, the poor, the middle class, professionals, CEO’s of international corporations, local politicians, members of Parliament, Prime Minsters, and the Queen of England. All felt the light and joy of Krishna in his kindness. In our movement there has never been anyone quite like him.
Humility, compassion and unrelenting determination are the ornaments that decorate his character. He is a seeker of the essence of pure devotion, and inspires us to seek that essence. His total dedication to Srila Prabhupada’s mission empowered him to pass through insurmountable challenges with grace, courage and joy. Anyone who is touched by his Vaisnava qualities will know that this Krishna Consciousness movement is wonderful. He is a genuinely compassionate preacher, and he inspires and empowers others to be give their hearts to the spiritual well being of the world.
We all love Sruti Dharma Prabhu. At this time, with the painful tears of our separation from him, let us celebrate his truly glorious life of devotion. Now he has entered into the loving embrace of Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda. He is home.
