In this October 2024 update, Vraja Vilas Prabhu shares the latest developments in the construction of Lord Nrsimhadev’s wing, highlighting remarkable progress. The flooring of the Nrsimhadev temple hall is complete, featuring a stunning design using red jasper, yellow Vencia, Baroda green, Vietnam white, and Roso Alicante from Spain, crafted by Sadhvi Dasi and Rangavati Devi Dasi under the direction of Swaha Mataji. The altar is nearly finished, with a beautifully designed prali arch and final touches on the chakra. A dome of Brazilian green marble has been installed, and gold elements, metalwork, and acoustic walls are complete. Four detailed paintings of Lord Nrsimhadev’s pastimes are also set to be installed by October 31.

The temple invites devotees to attend the grand opening of Lord Nrsimhadev’s wing and participate in the Festival of Lights celebration on Diwali, October 31, 2024. Attendees are encouraged to fulfill any pending pledges, and more information is available on the TOVP website.

On March 1-2, 2024, the Nrsimhadeva Wing in the TOVP reached the first milestone and opened for all devotees to view. Now, to celebrate the next milestone of completion of the construction work in the Wing, another grand celebration is scheduled on Diwali, October 31, 2024: Jvala Nrsimhotsava, Festival of Lights for Nrsimhadeva.

Phase 3 will include two floors of exhibits and paintings, scheduled to begin some time after the three-month-long TOVP Grand Opening from December, 2026 until Gaura Purnima, 2027.

Included in the Phases 1 and 2 completion is the entire altar, pillars, floor, chandelier, doors, walls, and dome interior. Prior to beginning Phase 3, the next focus is the completion of the main wing of the TOVP which includes the 300’ long altar, in preparation for the relocation of all our beloved Mayapur Deities into Their new home in 2026/27.
