This poem was written when Tsunami struck Japan in 2011.
I wrote it in praise for my Lord.

It always was an unforseen future,
with change Thy will governing nature..
Yet failing to adapt, I remain so blind,
lacking fortitude, fearful creature..
One waft of your silent expression,
brings senses alive to realisation,
a reminder of ideals we tend to forget,
to have faith, gratefulness and hold no regret..
Tsunami struck, wars lost,
people astray and gone,
Thank you for my present my Lord,
May your mercy keep us strong..
