Mahaprabhu is on the bank of the Godavari River, where Ramananda Raya often bathed. Seeing Ramananda, Mahaprabhu was eager to embrace him but somehow He restrained Himself.
Seeing a Sannyasi on east coast Ramananda Raya approached there, Mahaprabhu said, “Are you Ramananda Raya?” He replied, “I m Shudra ! They called me Ramananda Raya.” This is Humility. He didn’t say..'Yes I’m Ramananda Raya! The Governor!!' ….not talking like that.
