It a thankless task to try to convince them to even hear a little bit about the one truth that permeates the entire universe, the truth that will liberate them from the cycle of birth and death and enable to regain their original eternal, all-blissful, all-knowing spiritual identities in that unlimitedly sublime Spiritual Sky. Sometimes they are so disturbed at those who try to awaken them that they severely beat them, arrest them, or even kill them. But the bona fide spiritual master never gives up trying to awaken the sleeping world population. This is his pure compassion. He has no material motivation of profit, adoration, or distinction. He simply wants to see that the people can become completely free from all forms of suffering.
If we find that we are so fortunate as to come into contact with a bona fide spiritual master, we should inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. Such a seer of the Truth can reveal everything to us regarding matter, spirit, and the controller of both. The bona fide spiritual master is empowered by the Supreme Personality of Godhead to deliver us, but he cannot and will not force us. We must make the conscious choice to surrender ourselves fully at his lotus feet for being engaged in the Lord's pure devotional service. The enlightened leadership of the bona fide spiritual master is what the world needs now, desperately more so than ever before. May all the leaders of the world now take shelter at the lotus feet of the bona fide spiritual master.
