“O Arjuna, I am seated in everyone’s heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge & forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedanta, and I am the knower of the Vedas.” (Bg 15.15)
Krsna is here saying that he is situated in everyone’s heart as Supersoul or Paramatma. It is he who gives us remembrance, forgetfulness & knowledge. Without Supersoul, the body is a worthless bag of chemicals. Because of Krsna present in our hearts, we can actually get knowledge. Knowledge comes from Krsna. And Krsna can also take knowledge away from us.
We must understand for Krsna nothing is impossible. Theoretically, practically, logically, generally, finally, positively, negatively, he can do anything. Because Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Krsna is the original person. Govindam adi purusam tam aham bhajami. (Brahma Samhita). So he is the most knowledgeable person because knowledge comes from him.
The primary source of knowledge are the Vedas. Some people have interpreted Vedanta, as impersonalism. Or being it full of yagyas, or sacrificial performances to attain heaven and other higher planets, particularly in the Karm-Kand sections. But Krsna is saying the goal of the Vedas is him. Krsna is the final word in the knowledge of Vedanta.
Krsna is also saying the entire vast knowledge of Vedanta was compiled and made by him. So who wrote the shastras & Vedas, Krsna. Krsna is where all knowledge comes from. Even knowledge of Goddess Saraswati comes from Krsna. Krsna is the source of everything. He is the cause of all causes. Krsna and his pure devotees are the only people who know the essence of the scriptures. People who do unalloyed devotional service to Krsna they are the most ambitious and intelligent. An intelligent person whenever in trouble, will take shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. A fool will however try to solve problems on his own.
Human beings had problem of distance. They made cars. Problem of Pollution. They made Aeroplanes, Ships. Again, same problems. Human beings are simply fools. Just like a leaf separated from a tree cannot be green and fresh. Similarly, man separated from God cannot be happy and blissful. How do we reach God? We simply chant the Holy Name, “Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare | Hare Ram, Hare Ram, Ram Ram, Hare Hare ||”.
