The Sweet End (a true story from Vrindavan Yatra).

-          Stop! Stop! Please wait!

Shouting in this way one aged Devotee came running to the bus. But because bus waited for him for another several minutes another senior Devotee within the bus spoke to him with anger.

It was noon time. As usually in yatras in the morning Devotees are taken to the places of pilgrimage and in the noon time they have to be on time for noon Prasadam. If someone is late then there won’t be any Prasadam left.

So this time this bus was late and all Devotees were angry because of hunger and thirst. Plus this aged Devotee stopped the bus for some time.

In this way this aged Devotee also replied with anger. Talk went on and on and they started to fight with each other with harsh words. Seeing this situation one new comer told to himself:

“Oh God! I pray to You that this yatra be my first and the last one in my whole life with ISKCON Devotees!”

He just joined Krishna Consciousness and did not even chant japa but decided to attend yatra and check whether it is his way or not.

So he made this decision. And was too sad.

In this way they reached the place of destination. Devotees took Prasadam. Hours past. Now it was evening.

New Devotee wandered here and there and suddenly saw something and again told to himself:

“Oh my God! Everywhere I see the first part of such like fight BUT NOWHERE I SAW THE SECOND PART OF THE FIGHT! Please, let it be my first – unforgettable yatra and let me always have chance to participate in this!”

While wandering among Devotees the new Devotee saw the same senior Devotees, who were fighting with each other before noon, falling to the ground and touching each other’s feet with tears in eyes and with repented voices. Then they stood up and embraced each other. Their faces were washed with tears and crying mixed with smile of happiness and joy.

All glories to all Devotees!!!

All glories to Shrila Prabhupada who created a family in which we all can live!

All glories to You Lord! All glories to You!!!
