Mounting evidence from genome studies indicates that the human species has undergone profound biological adaptation in its recent evolutionary past. In the volcanic bedrock of the Andes, arsenic is naturally abundant and leaches into the drinking water. But the biochemistry of Andeans has evolved to efficiently metabolize this notoriously toxic substance.

Bone Fragments of Oldest Known Human Face Found in Spain
Bone fragments unearthed at an ancient cave in Spain belong to the oldest known human face in western Europe, researchers say. The fossilised remains make up the left cheek and upper jaw of an adult member of an extinct human species who lived and died on the Iberian peninsula between 1.1m and 1.4m years ago. The discovery suggests that at least two forms of early human occupied the region in the early Pleistocene. Reactions to Forbidden Archeology
range from glowing praise…
“One of the landmark intellectual achievements of the late 20th century”
Graham Hancock, author of
…to caustic ridicule
“Your book is pure humbug and does not deserve to be taken seriously
by anyone but a fool”
Richard Leakey, Anthropologist
Mr. Cremo’s book has certainly turned the heads of the Scientific Establishment. After NBC?s Mysterious Origins of Man television special aired in 1995, Academia exploded in protest, lobbying the FCC to ban NBC and its sponsors from the airwaves. However, it is significant that censorship attempts failed to prevent the first program of its kind from broadcasting alternative views on human evolution via a major television network.
