Hare Krishna!!

Hello Friends recently I completed reading ninth chapter of Bhagavad Gita and realized that soo many gems are hidden in this chapter. Though each and every verse of BG is dipped in the sweetest nector guiding, motivating us enlightening us but in chapter 9 Krishna is really revealing the most hidden knowledge so deep so intense that if we can truly realize even a single verse of the whole chapter we can fully achieve the aim of this human life.

I know that I am having no capacity to write anything about this great revealed guide book. I neither have the capacity nor qualification for this but by the mercy of Sirla Prabhupada , my guide my mentor Sh. Giriraji Dasa and all senior Vaishnavs, I strongly desired to share in nutshell the summary of this chapter point wise as follows:-

  1. Krishna can only be attained by being faithful in our devotional service and its our consciousness that matters. Krishna is Bhav Grahi Janardana and its all that matters. The soul is eternally related to Him through transcendental devotional service (bhakti). By reviving one's pure devotion one returns to Krishna in the spiritual realm.

  1. The whole universe is being created, maintained and destroyed by Krishna. He is pervaded in each and every atom, he is everywhere but everything is not Krishna like sunrays are coming from sun but sun rays are not sun.

  1. Knowledge of Krishna Consciousness is the supreme complete knowledge and everything else is incomplete entangling us in the circle of repeated birth and death.

  1. In Text 26 Krishna clearly reveals that food meant for consumption of human beings. Whatever we eat we should first offer that to Krishna and then can consume because then it becomes Prasadam. Now the question is which foodstuffs can be offered? Here Krishna reveals – “If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it.” Thus Krishna clearly mentions that we human beings are not meant to consume flesh but should consume only pure vegetarian food stuff only.

  1. In Text 27 Krishna clearly declares that – “ Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform – do that, O son of Kuntī, as an offering to Me.”In this way we can increase our love for Krishna and can be freed from the law of Karma.
  2. Krishna reciprocates by carrying what His devotee lacks and preserving what he has. By taking shelter of Krishna, even lowborn people can attain the Supreme destination.

.

  1. In the last shaloka/verse no. 34 Krishna summarizes the whole essence of Bhagavad Gita – “ मन्मना भव मद्भ‍क्तो मद्याजी मां नमस्कुरु ।
    मामेवैष्यसि युक्त्वैवमात्मानं मत्परायण:” (man-manā bhava mad-bhakto
    mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru
    mām evaiṣyasi yuktvaivam
    ātmānaṁ mat-parāyaṇaḥ”

Engage your mind always in thinking of Me, become My devotee, offer obeisances to Me and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me.

Hare Krishna!!

Further, I humbly with folded hands request everyone to kindly forgive for any mistake done in my attempt to compile the above article.
