The Supreme Lord Bhagavan Krishna takes different forms as part of his sportive action to relieve Mother Earth from the burden. No one can really understand his powers, even Demigods have limited knowledge when comes to Lord's sportive actions and his powers.
Lord has taken 23 Leela avatars. Among these, the most powerful avatar is Bhagavan Shree Krishna avatar. The people, animals, plants, and land which came in contact with Lord are considered to be fortunate as they got a chance to interact and touch the supreme cosmic being who is not affected by the Gunas of Prakriti and always exist in the Sat-chit-ananda state.
The Gopala boys who were not aware of the supreme being who manifested in the human form used to play with Krishna considering him as a mere boy like them.
During his early childhood days, the lord used to be mischievous. Yasoda, wife of cowherd chief and the foster mother of Lord Krishna loved him unconditionally, more than her own life, and she used to receive complaints about Lord's mischief daily.
One day Gopalas, Bhagavan Shree Krishna, and his brother Balaram were playing. Lord ate mud while playing. Gopalas and Balaram went and complained this to his mother Yasoda. Hearing her beloved son ate mud she got concerned about his health and rushes towards Krishna and holds his hands.
Out of motherly love and concern towards her boy, she starts scolding Krishna, whereas the lord stood there with trembling eyes like a child who was caught doing naughty things by his mother.
She later asks him why did you eat mud? Your friends even your brother testified. After being questioned so " Lord replied, I didn't eat mud mother, they are telling lies to you". "If you want check my mouth by yourself". After hearing the innocent words of the Lord, Yasoda asks Lord to open his mouth.
When Lord Opens the mouth she sees the entire universe in its gross and subtle state. The heaven where the demigods residing, Quarter, galaxies, planets, stars, Sun, Moon, Earth along with oceans, mountains. She even saw Vraja, the place where they stay also sees herself in it.
She was bewildered and thought "whatever I'm looking at is real or my illusion? How can it be true? The boy who is standing in front of me like an innocent child holds the entire universe in his mouth. Is it a play of god?".
Then she said to herself I salute the supreme Parabrhaman who created the entire universe, who support the universe to sustain. My only support is the supreme being Lord Vishnu through his Maya, I came to think I am Yasoda, wife of Nanda who is the chief of the cowherd. All the Gopalas and Gopis in the Vraja are under my command.
The Lord understood the state of his mother, who came to terms with the truth. Lord with parental love caste his Vishnu Maya on his mother. Like magic, she forgets what happened few minutes before with motherly love she took her beloved son into her lap and started pampering him.
The Bhagavan Shree Krishna whose actions are mysterious to even Lord Brahma like a small child enjoys the motherly love and pampering of Yasoda and spent his days in Vraja.
