The Kadamba Foundation, a registered charity founded by His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami, focuses on fundraising for South African-African preaching projects and more opportunities for Africans to embrace Krishna consciousness. The foundation’s main objective is to publish, promote, and distribute new books and music while also republishing existing Kadamba Kanana Swami publications worldwide. The foundation has published 22 music albums, ten books, and numerous video and audio recordings in various formats. Kadamba Kanana Swami’s media and preaching legacy will continue through the foundation even after his physical passing. Additionally, The foundation aims to archive all digital and non-digital media, including new recordings, texts, and photos of and by Maharaja.
In a series of videos about the foundation, Kadamba Kanana Swami highlighted the importance of the organization continuing his legacy and making his media available to a broader audience. He urged his disciples and the larger ISKCON community of well-wishers to support the foundation’s vital work. “Through this foundation, all of you will continue to enjoy new projects…we hope that through this foundation, I’ll continue to be present in a way, even after I’m physically no longer on this planet,” he said.
All proceeds from sales and donations support South African-African preaching projects under the care of “The Peacock Tree Trust,” an extension of the foundation founded to preserve, expand, and manage Maharaja’s interests in South Africa. A South African team manages the many projects.
