The Heart of Transcendental Book Distribution

Sep 22, 2010 — VRINDAVAN, INDIA (SUN) — Dear Devotees, please accept our most humble obeisances at your feet from the "Voice of Vraja"- team, dedicated to serve the mission of Srila Prabhupada and Sripad Aindra Prabhu and his book The Heart of Transcendental Book Distribution. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, all glories to Sriman Aindra Prabhu!

All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga! All glories to the thunderous congregational chanting of Radha-Krishna's Holy Names. All glories to the swan-like pure devotees of the Lord!

This is the first official e-mail we are writing to all of you who have sent some queries regarding Aindra Prabhu's book to his e-mail ID, which was created by HG Aindra Prabhu and ourselves on the 9th of July 2010 - just six days before he left this planet and became unmanifest to our vision.

This e-mail ID was specifically created by Prabhuji to facilitate the correspondence towards various queries concerning his upcoming book. Little did we know at that time that very soon, we'd be replying through this after his departure from this world.

As some of you may know, Aindra prabhu was working on his book for more than six years and then after several years of completion of this treatise, in 2008 we started the work towards its publishing.

Most of us know about Aindra Prabhu that he was a perfectionist, and also the unique design of the book required a lot of research & development. So it took nearly two years to finalize everything until the book was the way it was supposed to be. Prabhuji wanted it to be perfect in all respects. Prabhuji told us on several occasions, "This is my life's work, these are my heartfelt effusions, my realizations which my Gurudeva HDG Srila Prabhupada and my Sacisuta asked me to put together." Prabhuji wanted to present it in the same first-class way as his spiritual master Srila Prabhupada always wanted things to be.

"After all, Srila Prabhupada had requested me to write a book", Aindra Prabhu says at the very beginning in the acknowledgment section of his book. Later on in the final section, Prabhuji further reveals, "I have written these words in response to a dream in which Srila Prabhupada moved me to do so. He Saci-suta! Although I would generally feel disinclined to voice these few inner thoughts and feelings, at his behest I have inspirationally done as was prompted by You from within. It is as if You, like a highway robber, stealthily assailed me along the way, plundering whatever little wealth of words I was carefully keeping to myself, only to haphazardly scatter them over the pages of this book in Your haste to escape my prudent circumspection!"

Aindra Prabhu in the same final section continues to say, "Dear Srila Prabhupada, I really don't know what kind of book you expected your insignificant, unworthy Aindra dasa to write. Whether my attempt is brimming with hope or overshadowed by dire hopelessness I can't really say. Whatever came from the core of my heart I have submitted with the hopes that you may smile, even if only ever so slightly. I pray that my verbose outpourings may in some small way instrumentally serve the purposes of our predecessor acaryas."

Aindra Prabhu's life is a perfect example of an offering at the feet of Sri Guru and Gauranga dedicated to serve the desire of his spiritual master in fulfilling the desire of all the predecessor acaryas, whose only desire is to fulfill the desire of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, "prthivite ache yata nagar adi gram sarvatra pracar hoibe moro nama".

In this regard, I remember one of Aindra Prabhu's favorite quotes: "Even if one receives diksa from the best guru, if he continues to maintain material attachments under the bodily conception of "I and mine" and neglects to immerse himself in the nectarean ocean of sankirtana-rasa, he will certainly remain on the kanishta-platform, depriving himself of the sweetness of selfless sacrifice on which the paragon of Vraja-bhakti is based."

Dear devotees, what can we say in glorification of Sriman Aindra Prabhu and his book? We have no personal ability or qualification to glorify such a great devotee of Sri Sri Radha-Shyamasundara and Sriman Aindra Dasa Prabhu. We find no apt words to describe his transcendental nature and qualities. We can only say that when you read his book, "The Heart of Transcendental Book Distribution", you'll know why our beloved founder-acarya HDG Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada asked his dear disciple Aindra Prabhu to put down the outpourings of his heart.

Also, Aindra Prabhu suggested that his readers should have read all of Srila Prabhupada's books first, and in this way have a sound foundation of the Gaudiya-Vaishnava siddhanta.

Regarding some other details:

1. As soon as the book is ready and offered to the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radhe-Shyam and Srila Prabhupada, it's ready to be sent to you as per your requirements. It may take a while, but very shortly from now. We'll keep you informed.

2. Please send us your requirement for exact number of copies. It's easier for us to send bulk orders. If devotees can club their orders together, that would be better. Books will be sent on "first come first" - serve basis.

3. You'll need to give us your exact postal address where you want us to post the book/s. The book/s will be sent via air mail.

4. We'll let you know about the price of the book in different regions plus the freight charges (as applicable), shortly. Also, we'll inform about the payment options. But you'll need to make the payment in advance and then the book will be dispatched. For now we'll accept payments for only those many copies that we have in the First edition, and then, Second edition will also be available soon by Radhe-Shyam's grace.

5. It's best to order your copy at the earliest date.
