His Grace Sankarshan Das Adhikari has answered as follows regarding why no eggs, May 25th, 2009
" We are not vegetarians. We are Krishnatarians. We only eat those foods that have been offered to Krishna. Since Srila Prabhupada, who has perfect knowledge of Krishna, has instructed us that Krishna does not eat eggs, we therefore do not offer them to Him, and therefore we cannot partake of them even if they are unfertilized."
Regarding spouse who is not Krishna conscious, Srila Gurudeva Sankarshan Das Adhikari wrote, June 17th,2006
"Now that you are giving your love to Krishna, your spouse may naturally feel neglected and discouraged. So you must now serve her with so much love that she will not feel in any way neglected and will become so much inspired and enlivened by your association that she resolves to follow you on the path of devotion to Lord Krishna."
And in the matter of no gambling, here is an exerpt from Srila Gurudevas Sankarshan Das Adhikari statement of April 10th, 2010:
"...We can practically observe how gambling is the greatest form of cheating. A gambling casino makes millions of dollars by taking the money of thousands and thousands of people while giving them nothing in return.
While one may try to cheat the laws of God by basing his life on exploiting others, he will find that in end he becomes out cheated by God, who takes away all of his ill gotten gains and sends him down to the animal kingdom in his next life. Of course this is not Krishna's cheating. This is His kindness to reform a grossly sinful living being. But from the perspective of the cheater it appears that he was out cheated by a bigger cheater..."
