Hare Krishna.
With Krishna's grace and blessing we are introduced to Krishna Consciousness and with his blessing we try to overcome Maya everyday. Some days are difficult as Krishna tests our faith and we lose the test and other days are better as we win the fight over Maya with Krishna's blessing. In this age of KaliYug where there are so many material distractions the struggle with Krishna consciousness continues. I worry sometimes if we will ever be one with Krishna. We are all part of Krishna and we should see this material world as Krishna's spiritual world and all the inhabitants of this world as part of Krishna but sometimes it is not easy to see a non-devotee as one with Krishna. They are ignorant and to interact with them becomes difficult. To survive in this world and to earn a living and feed ourselves and family, there are times you have to work and be in an environment that is not conducive to Krishna consciousness. I pray to Krishna everyday to be able to work in such an environment and be strong in my Krishna consciousness. At the end of the day after I finish my work, being around non-devotees I feel my energy completely drained even though I chant at work to feel the connection with Krishna. How will we cross this ocean of Maya in this KaliYug? Only with Krishna's blessing. I pray to Krishna to free me of this constant struggle with Maya and take me back to his abode.
