Srimati Radhika as Gandhesvari



Sri Krsna and the cowherd boys would smear aromatic (gandha) substances on their bodies while grazing the cows. It is said that Sri Krsna became intoxicated by the fragrance emanating from the body of Srimati Radhika, who was hiding nearby with Her girlfriends. Seeing Srimatiji, the flute slipped from His hands, His peacock feather crown fell at Her lotus feet, and He fainted. From then Srimati Radhika is also called as Gandhesvari.

    Shrimati Radharani -Most Merciful mother of the eternal , manifested and the unmanifested world, she is personification of Krishna's heart, Without her mercy no one is eligible to take any step towards God i.e Krishna, the supreme personality of God Head.

    Jaya radhe...what an ecstatic photo,krishna is fortunate because his devotees are keen to enable radha and krishna to enjoy the sankirtan rasa....which is not even available in the spiritual world!....hare krishna!
