SRIMAN NARAYANA, SRI LAKSHMI AMMA (DAYA DEVI) AND THE HOLIEST OF HOLY WORKS OF THE REVERENTIAL AZHWARS ( MYSTIC SAINTS ) OF THE SOUTH OF INDIA. ( Part 4 / 21)
SriLakshmi Amma, Daya devi (an ocean of compassion) ( Part 4 of 21 )
Hare Krishna Matajis and Prabhujis,
Have just come back after a short pilgrimage, seeking the most divine darshan of our most beloved Lakshmi amma at Kolhapur , and Sri Rukhmini amma, Sri Satya Bhama amma, Sri Radha amma, Sri Lakshmi amma , Sri Govinda and our most beloved rajati raja maharati Vithu mauli at Pandarpur. VITHU RAKHUMAI VITHOBHA RAKUMAI!. Countless loving glories to our divine consort. Now, I can feel my pen moving more faster than ever for the positive energies of these two holiest of holy Kshetras have been absorbed in my system.
Our most adoring Lakshmi amma is also Sri Radha Amma, Sri Bhumadevi, Neeladevi amma and all the various forms and manifestations of our Lord Sri Krishna for our divine consort are one whole, HE IS SHE AND SHE IS HE. They are inseparable and hence she resides in his lotus heart ever and ever.
It is mentioned in our very revered scriptures, that the colour of the eyes of our dearest Lakshmi amma is jet black and that of our dearest of dear Lord Sri Krishna is dark red. This is due to the fact, our dearest of dear mother resides in the heart of Sriman Narayana and hence our Lord is also popularly known as Sriyapati and neela megha shyama ( dark blue hued like the clouds) and hence the darkness of his colour reflects in the lotus eyes of our most beloved loving mother and she is beautiful red in colour and her reflection gets etched in the most beautiful lotus eyes of our most adoring Sri Govinda and hence his eyes are dark red for their love for each other is so deep that one billionth of a second they cannot separate from each other. SUCH ARE OUR DEAREST OF DEAR DIVINE CONSORT AND OUR PARENTS.
One story immediately comes to my mind, when I think of our dearest mother. She took birth as Andal amma (BHUDEVI AMMA) and kept a very celestial vow of marrying our lord Sri Govinda and for a month , in the toughest of tough conditions fulfilled her vows , and towards the end because of her warmest of warm love for our Lord Govinda/ Lord SriRanganathar she is accepted by him and our Lord Sriman Narayana is very happy to marry her.
Her foster father Sri Vishnuchitta (also called peria azhwar, we will read, in the coming series ,about his and andal ammas divine works too, for they are our reverential azhwars) is very sad to see her daughter leave him. The greatest of great Peria Azhwar has a very unique distinction he is the father and also father in law of lord Sri Govinda because he has written maximum holy verses about our baby Krishna's leelas, gopis, gwalas and mother Yashoda's immense love for our dearest of dear baby Krishna and also has so lovingly and protectively as a parent sung the ONE AND ONLY PALLANDU (blessings to our lord to ward off all the evil eyes) which surely merits him the status of a father/mother and our lord Sri Govinda is now willing to marry his daughter and hence he is also his son in law. WHAT A MARVEL!. Transcendental to the core.
One most poignant moment is, although, he is very happy for his daughter, he cannot bear to separate from her , his daughter is not marrying a mere mortal like us , she is accepted by none other than our only one king of the entire cosmos, our most beloved creator Lord Sri Govinda. With tears rolling down his eyes , he conveys to our lord Sri Govinda that here too, he cannot cry , for everything in this world, the sentient and the in sentient is the property of our lord, so it is just the lord is taking away one of his creations, so how can he cry for none in this world belong to one another, they all are "HIS" only. This communication made by our dearest Peria azhwar to our lord is with great grief, on seeing tears rolling down his eyes, our most compassionate lord Sri Govinda becomes very pained, he promises Peria azhwar that he will come and reside in Srivilliputthur too, the birth place of our dearest mother andal and is more than willing to reside with his wife's parents.
