he came across the ocean with a superhuman mission
to liberate the people from this world of hollow dreams
establishing the culture of a genuine tradition
he sacrificed his livelihood and went to great extremes
with unsurpassed devotion and determined to succeed
he patiently endured the many troubles on his way
presenting holy scriptures and to teach us what we need
reminding us of Krishna in whatever he would say
his generous endeavor was a truly matchless gift
an act of real compassion just to save the fallen souls
to shine his spotless light on a society adrift
reveal its lower nature and its godforsaken goals
an unrelenting warrior that showed us who we are
example of humility without a false façade
demolishing the darkness like an ever-shining star
