Shaligram is god Vishnu himself. Saligrama or Sila(शिला) is worshipped by vaisnava and mostly in every hindu devotee home and Temple. To please God vishnu any Shaligram or Specially Different form of Saligram is worshipped Ritually. Those who donot Find Saligram Form and Name or Saligram with chakra or without chakra(marks or design) ,One should think he is krishna himself. Shaligram is Round,Spherical,Oval and is usually found any Shape or Size with representation and without representation luckily. Shaligram is mostly black colour,yellow and white in appearance naturally.
Shaligram is also Known as Shaligram shila . 'Shila' is usually spoken by Vaisnava devotee.'Shila' refers to Form and Murti of God in sanskrit.
