Sri Gaura Purnima festival, an appearance day of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu was celebrated by ISKCON, Ludhiana in open ground beautifully decorated with lights and flowers near the temple. A large number of people including political, religious enthusiastically participated in the festival. Deities Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baldeva and Subhadra and Sri Sri Gaur Nitai look very beautiful in their colorful dress.
Harinama sankirtan was recited by devotees of ISKCON,Kurukshetra and from local temple.HG Sakshi Gopal Das prabhu,TP ISKCON,Kurukshetra and HG Rajsuya Das Prabhu,TP,ISKCON,Ludhiana speak on the past time of The Lordship. People were dancing on mahamantra and there was also Pushp Holi (Flower Holi). The pandal was very beautifully decorated with lights, flowers etc. School kids of ISKCON Prahlad School played drama about the appearance and past time of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.After aarti of their Lordship there was Panchamrit abhishek of Sri Gaur Nitai.
