Spiritual RelationshipsSI_Yatra_313_Rajahmundry_ClassesJuly 4, 2011George Harrison wrote it this way in the introduction to Krishna book:“Everyone desires to love and everyone desires to be loved. They just don’t know where to repose that propensity.” Everyone desires intimacy and love. We desire that. But, by mistake, we are reposing that desire or propensity on bodies, minds, intellects or other objects that don’t satisfy us and don’t satisfy the other person, and we call that life. So we just keep re-arranging things, and life becomes but an endless shuffle of trying it this way, and trying it that way. Around and around and around we go, never finding real satisfaction. The real satisfaction is in paradharma, and there isn’t any alternative. When we place that desire for intimacy into our relationship with Krishna, we find the right kind of intimacy in our relationship with others, on the spiritual platform, without the necessity of the grosser forms or even the subtler material forms of exchange. It’s simply on the spiritual platform, because it is truly satisfying to the soul, to the self, atma-suprasidati.From a lecture by HH Romapada Swami titled "Six Questions, Six Answers Part 2", Seattle, November 2010
