Acharya Drona had trained Drupad's son very expertly. And spiritual knowledge is also given regardless of where we are from, who we are which caste we are from, which economic background we are from.
Spiritual knowledge is available to everyone equally. Although the sun's light is available equally, there are some who take benefit of sun's light and some remain in darkness. That is our choice.
Srila Prabhupada going to the western world was presenting this knowledge of Krishna consciousness to everyone practically. Some took it seriously, some didn't. Regardless of their qualifications Prabhupada was giving it.
A person may have had the background of horrible sanskaras and totally unqualified fro spiritual knowledge but a guru, under his pressure, his education, under his guidance can turn charcoal like person into a diamond. Therefore whatever life we may have led in terms of doing wrong things in term of doing immoral things does not matter.
The past is gone. Its history.
All of us have an opportunity to reform; all of us have an opportunity to transform by taking shelter of a bonafide guru, bonafide spiritual master.
Indian, Hindu, Muslim, Westerner but anyone and everyone regardless of who he or she is qualified for spiritual master.
Acharya Drona gave knowledge to Drustyadhumna regardless of him being the son of his enemy.
