With spiritual association our lives improve and we change the lives of others. We can associate with the more advanced, equally advanced or less advanced but spiritual association is a must. We live in an environment where everyone is trying to make us forget God. But Krsna consciousness teaches you a science, the science of bhakti-yoga where you engage in devotional service to the Lord. To get this spiritual association we now have various programs which are a combination of chanting, kirtana etc. Through these one can better equip oneself to fight with the material energy. We live in an environment where, by and large people are Godless. So we need this spiritual association to progress spiritually.
