  • The Christians are guilty of this as is almost every religion. It is said to follow the spirit of scripture. You may blaspheme the father, you may blaspheme the son but not the holy spirit. Idolatry eliminates the spirit. We set up a statue, or an image and likeness in our minds. This creates expectation so when God's true messengers come nobody listens. For they are awaiting what they want and not what is. Be it a white man with a beard named Jesus...white even though he lived in the desert or any other image. We only see the messenger and ignore listening to the message, and in that state we end up worshipping the messenger and not the message.

  • was a good lecture. However most of the teachings written in that consciousness can not be understood outside of that consciousness. Lord Jesus is simply avatara, who appears in a time and place for specific purpose. He said I am the way, the life and the truth. He didn't say I will only save my followers, he was insinuating as a guru to follow his ways. Austerities and devotion and you will find the kingdom of heaven within. In duality he died for "our sins", or his "followers" sins, in God consciousness you will realize it was actually God redeeming the biblical "first man" For he who is First will be the Last. And the first man is also the same representation of the super soul. Known as the "shattering of the vessels" all are made in his Image, part and parcel. There is absolutely nothing that is not one. Subjective paths to the Absolute. What you speak of are translations of Christianity from individuals not in the state of consciousness that it was written in. Much of Christianity is wrong. But then again of all religions there are those who misrepresent it. All paths can lead to the absolute, and depending on the individual and what clicks for them in their current state. Love, devotion and Submission to God is the life.

    Much Love :)
