Kamika Ekadashi - 4 Aug 2021 
Kamika Ekadashi is observed on the Ekadashi Tithi i.e., the eleventh day of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Shravana.
Ekadashi Seva On this day, devotees worship Lord Vishnu. The Kamika Ekadashi is considered as one of the most propitious Ekadashi because it falls during the Chaturmas period–an auspicious four-month period devoted to Lord Krishna.
In the Brahma-vaivarta Purāṇa it is said that one who observes fasting on Ekādaśī day is freed from all kinds of reactions to sinful activities and advances in pious life. The basic principle is not just to fast, but to increase one’s faith and love for Govinda, or Kṛṣṇa.
