On Srila Prabhupada's Spiritual Revolution
ISKCON is non-different from Srila Prabhupada -- "my body," he said. Let us always remember how much Srila Prabhupada desired this movement to be successful. There have been, are, and will be discrepancies and difficulties within ISKCON, especially without Prabhupada to personally chastise us and keep us in order. We sometimes tend to forget exactly what Prabhupada wanted us to do, and sometimes life in ISKCON has been unnecessarily very difficult. But despite the ups and downs, when we remember that Srila Prabhupada considers ISKCON non-different from him, then we know that we have to go on serving and cooperating within this movement to try to make it a great success.
If we are serious to serve, surely Prabhupada and Krsna will guide us. Srila Prabhupada is always with us as his books and his instructions. If we follow them without deviation, we will never be separated from him. We will earn the blessings of Srila Prabhupada and the entire parampara. With the power of Krsna, Prabhupada and the previous acaryas behind us, there is no question of failure. Surely, if we but remain sincere, it is just a matter of time before our endeavors meet with success.
But we have to remain patient and not expect everything to happen at once. These are pioneering and formative days. The years following Srila Prabhupada's physical departure from this world are testing ground for the Krsna consciousness movement. How Srila Prabhupada's instructions are understood and implemented by the first generations of his followers will shape the future of the Krsna consciousness movement.
