We have to absorb ourselves in preaching activities. When we speak to someone about Krsna or induce them to take a book, we pray, "Please, Srila Prabhupada, help me convince these people." When asked questions or challenged, we remember how Prabhupada replied to such queries. When tempted by maya we say, "No" because we know that it will be displeasing to Srila Prabhupada and a hindrance to our full absorption in his service. When we face the inevitable difficulties in preaching, we remember how Prabhupada tolerated all inconveniences, patiently overcame all obstacles, and went on, undisturbed, pushing on his movement.
Another aspect of being Prabhupada conscious is to offer all our successes back to him. We are made of his mercy and have no abilities of our own. All guidance, inspiration and blessings come from him. Srila Prabhupada was sent by Lord Caitanya to fulfill His mission of spreading Krsna consciousness all over the world. There is no doubt that this movement will become prominent and lead the world, for it is the desire of Lord Caitanya and Srila Prabhupada. This movement is meant for fabulous success, and it will happen when we all clearly understand that this was, is, and always will be Prabhupada's movement. Everything belongs to Prabhupada; nothing is ours. We are absolutely and always his servants. We do not have dozens of movements with dozens of leaders, but only one movement with one leader.
Within that movement there may be many departments with their respective leaders, but the overall leader is one. Our mission is one only -- to conjointly serve Prabhupada's mission. Let us try to be great servants of our great master and to serve his servants also -- that's Vaisnava philosophy. Although we follow Prabhupada under the direction of different disciples of his, there should not be much difference between the disciples of different gurus. We are all members of Prabhupada's family.
