The appearance day of Lord Ramacandra falls on Wednesday, 5th April this year.
So Ramayana, Valmiki Ramayana, not other Ramayana, the so-called Ramayana... Authority, Valmiki Ramayana. If you read Valmiki Ramayana, that is also as good as reading Bhagavad-gita.

I have a great desire to translate the Valmiki Ramayana because that is authorized. Tulsi das' Charit manas is already translated into English by some clergyman, but I do not exactly know his name. Therefore I wish to translate Valmiki Ramayana exactly in the way I have done Srimad-Bhagavatam.

Srila Prabhupada glorified Ramayana by the sage Valmiki and also desired to translate it in full as he had translated Srimad Bhagavatam. He mentioned that the Ramayana being a work describing the activities and teachings of a form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, was a transcendental work.
Currently there are several editions of Ramayana within ISKCON and numerous editions outside ISKCON. A lot of the modern editions of Ramayana are presented in a sensationalist style or as a mythical epic or adventure story, which does not evoke devotional sentiments and does not emphasize the fact that Sri Ramacandra is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that this text is part of sastra.
HH Bhakti Vikasa Maharaja has compiled a summarized edition of Valmiki Ramayana containing all the main pastimes with nothing left out, which is now translated in several languages. What makes this edition different from many other editions of Ramayana is the way the book follows the tone and mood of scripture and thus narrates the pastimes in a devotional way according to the parampara tradition thus enabling the reader to derive spiritual benefit from the book. It is thus important to spread this book far and wide for all.
We urge everyone who has not yet read this book yet to please do so. And also, for the glorification of Sri Sri Sita Rama, Laksmana and Hanuman and for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada and Maharaja and the spiritual benefit of others we urge all devotees to engage in the supreme occupation of distributing Ramayana by H.H. Bhakti Vikasa Swami this Rama Navami at temples and festival gatherings over this period.
You can print and display the attached A3 size publicity poster at noticeboards. It can be shared on social media as well. Any effort put in this service will surely attract the mercy of Lord Rama.
