haribol.!!!!!!!! well this wasn't a very familiar word to me in way back 1996.i was in a hostel and my room mate hap pend to be a crazy man as i thought of him then.crazy!!!!!!!!no smoking,no meat eating,no beer, its not the end of it... no onion garlic....well he was ready to spend hundred rupees for taxi just to have khichadi at a temple called Sri Sri Radhagopinath somewhere at chopatty...it sounded absolutely crazy to me.one fine day he said 'come with me,i m sure you will love it',reluctantly i followed him to the temple.to my surprise i saw every one including quite a few foreigners dancing and singing in temple,for me it was something new,i am basically from himalays(nainital) this is not very common there,sitting quietly, meditation this is what temple meant to me.after seeing all that drama first thing came to my mind was the movie" hare rama hare krishna".i pulled my friend back 'are they in to drugs? 'i asked quietly.he smiled to my horrer 'yes' was his answer but this is different it is called "HSD"Harinam Sankirtan Dhun he explained,it did not made much sense to me......days past.....then months together.........a long long pause on spiritual front...years passed ....it was now 2004,i am in a train coming from delhi to mumbai somewhere on the way a group of devotees entered in the same compartment,from their talks i came to know they were coming from vrindavan.two young ladies happen to sit in front of my seat.i was ready with cotton to plug my ears to save myself from ladies bla bla,but to my pleasant surprise they took out one photograph which i assume they had bought recently from vrindavan and started talking about it,it was only only two hours chat on one single photograph,content of which not known to me yet,ladies are ladies i thought.i was feeling uneasiness i was very keen to see that photograph, how can one talk for two hours on one single still photograph,a movie of three hours containing millions of still photographs still it will be difficult for me to talk more than ten minutes.i could not resist any more,with great hesitation i requested "can i have a look"they were more than happy,i looked at photo then at girls one by one again at photo and again at girls,i looked like lost it was a simple photo of radha and krishna.....crazy......crazy i thought,thank you i said,how can you talk so long on one photo?i asked,even a lifetime is less to talk about krishna was the quick reply,where do you stay? was the question for me,mumbai softly i replied,i was not in a mood for further conversation.they continued please visit our temple,quickly one girl took out one thin book name "resonance"to show me the address at the back cover.address looked familiar,is it near wilson college at chowpatty on first floor ...wooden flooring....i wanted to confirm,yes yes that's it you have come there before?they asked,i could see a real happiness on their face.i did not liked it i replied bluntly.my eyes were looking for TT,will it be possible to get a seat elsewhere i thought, i was not comfortable .they continued their chant 'please come to our temple,krishna is very merciful,it is not coincidence,he has some plans for you,please come' i tried to returned the book,please keep it was their answer.soon reached mumbai goodbye see you in the temple they said and parted ways.so many byes we do in life little did i knew that this bye is going to change my life forever.one Sunday i was free nothing to do much,let me go to temple i thought.next i was dancing and singing in temple,how come these girls were so sure about me that i will like it this time....i could not sleep that night.next day i went again,sure enough i was high on HSD.........THANKS TO ALL THESE PURE DEVOTEES OF LORD....GOD BLESS.....
