P O E T R YThe Brick WallThere is a brick wall in my heartI keep myself stoned in.Forsaking my own gentlenessI live a life of sin.I could be tender, without pride,Dependent, at His will. But I’m denying Krishna’s love.Infinity seems nil.A meek and gentle voice I hearWithin my heart somewhereBut to expose my meagernessI hardly ever dare.Doubt and denial humble meAnd cast their blanket gloomOver my heart. Who will impartThe antidote for doom? He’s come already with the namesThe nectar for the soulI need only sing one refrainAnd singing this, sing all.Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna Hare HareHare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

I could be tender, without pride,
    Dependent, at His will.
    But I’m denying Krishna’s love.
    Infinity seems nil.
