Hare Krishna Dear Devotees!πππ
Please accept my humble obesiances!
All glories to Srila Prabhupad!
With Bhagavad Gita reading I am simultaneously reading the book On the Way to Krishna. This blog presents the points which I have learned from reading the 1st five paragraphs of the 1st chapter of the book On the Way to Krishna.
So let's start:
- We can't experience real and eternal happiness in temporary things.
- Trees have the lowest level of consciousness, so it can't feel happiness when someone gives water to it, and it can't feel distress when someone takes away its fruits.
- Every entity will experience happiness according to its level of consciousness.
- Consciousness: The ability to feel/perceive surroundings, and our inner things like emotions.
- Happiness in this material world is not real happiness.
- Material happiness is not real happiness.
- For different types of living entities, there are different types of happiness.Β
- Distress: Extreme sadness.
- Real happiness: Β The happiness which is eternal and does not lead to distress.
- Fake happiness: Β The happiness which is not eternal and which leads to distress.
- To experience the highest happiness, we should go above than the senses and the intelligence.
- The material body is not enjoying, but the spiritual soul, which is in that body is enjoying.
- The material body is maintained by the spiritual soul, and when the soul leaves the body, the body simply perishes.
- The highest happiness cannot be experienced through our senses, and it cannot be understood through our intelligence.
- The soul is an individual person. It has a form. Krishna is an individual person. He has a form.
- We can't see the soul because the soul is in a spiritual dimension.
β’We (the souls) have a form.So our father, which is Krishna must have a form.
