Medical professionals from across the nation gathered at the serene Veda Foundation in DeLand, Florida, February 2nd-4th, for the 6th Annual Conference of the Bhaktivedanta Medical Association US. Inspired by the divine instruction and desire of Bhakti Charu Swami, this transformative retreat, organized by BMA Secretary Dr. Prasanna Tadi and Prasannatma Das, in collaboration with the Veda Foundation, provided a sanctuary for attendees to rejuvenate and realign their focus on holistic well-being.

The retreat commenced with a warm welcome and an icebreaker session, setting the stage for meaningful interactions and shared experiences. Attendees immersed themselves in devotional kirtans and Gaura Aratik, embracing the spiritual ambiance that permeated every moment of the event.

Throughout the weekend, participants engaged in a diverse array of workshops and discussions, covering topics ranging from maintaining lasting relationships to the effects of physician peer coaching on burnout. The schedule also included insightful sessions on maximizing practice profitability, plant-based diets, and biorelaxation techniques, offering attendees practical wisdom to enhance both their personal and professional lives.

The retreat also emphasized maintaining personal health amidst the demands of the medical profession. Through interactive workshops and discussions, attendees gained insights into effective self-care strategies, stress management techniques, and the importance of nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
