Lord Nrsimha roars loudly and causes others to roar. With His multitudes of arms, He tears the demons asunder and kills them in this way. He is always seeking out and tormenting the demoniac descendants of Diti, both on this earth planet and in the higher planets, and He throws them down and scatters them. He cries with great anger as He destroys the demons in all directions, yet with His unlimited hands He sustains, protects, and nourishes the cosmic manifestation. I offer my respectful obeisances to the Lord, who has assumed the form of a transcendental lion.”

Times are rapidly changing, and it is only natural for devotees to completely take refuge of the Lord. On the day of Narasimha Caturdashi, there will be a very special Maha-Sudarshana Yajna. During the Sudarshana Yajna, the divine discus of Lord Vishnu is invoked along with Lord Nrsimha for protection from negative forces & for universal peace & prosperity.

This year Nrisimha Caturdasi will be special as we will collectively appeal to the Lord, offering Him a grand Sudarshana Yajna and Harinam Yajna, where everyone can take part from anywhere in the world and perform their offering in this Yajna on the most special day of Lord Narasimha. The homa is accomplished with a fire yajna, offerings of Tulasi leaves to the Lord, and recitation of the Purusha Sukta, and the Sudarshana yantra will be bathed 108 times with the Sudarshana mantras for empowerment and then offered darpan (bath water) from the purified water of kalashes.

We request devotees wanting to worship Sri Nrisimhadeva in Mayapur on the occasion of His most auspicious appearance, to seize this very auspicious opportunity to make your own offering online now and we shall offer sankalpa on your behalf.

Your name will be chanted as part of the offering infused into the water of the bathing kalashes, and then recited again during the darpan (yantra bathing) by the Brahmins performing the yajna.

You shall receive the Raksha Sutra (sacred thread, that is wrapped in Yajna Kalasha) and ‘Yajna Raksha’ (i.e. the ashes dust from the yajna) along with Tulasi leaves mailed to you.

"I offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Nrisimhadeva, the source of all power. O my Lord who possesses nails and teeth just like thunderbolts, kindly vanquish our demon-like desires for fruitive activity in this material world. Please appear in our hearts and drive away our ignorance so that by Your mercy we may become fearless in the struggle for existence in this material world." (Srimad-Bhagavatam, 5.18.8)
