Nestled amidst the serene countryside of Lanchang, Pahang, Malaysia, lies a sacred jewel ISKCON Malaysia’s New Godruma Dhama Farm which propagates cow protection and farming projects in its humble attempt as envisioned by the divine teachings of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. Named after Godruma, the sacred island of Navadvipa where the Surabhi cow came to worship Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu, this present-day Godruma is now rising as a Vedic eco-village centred primarily in devotional service, cow protection, farming, producing various farm products, etc.

The land of Malaysia is spiritually blessed by the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada, who visited in 1971 and stayed for five days, planting the sacred seeds of Krishna consciousness. From that divine beginning, ISKCON Malaysia has blossomed now with 34 active centres across the country, dynamically engaged in Harinama & book distribution, farm projects, Food for Life, Bhakti-vriksha groups, prison & school preaching program, renown Hare Krishna National Convention and etc. With Srila Prabhupada’s mercy and the sincere dedication of countless devotees, ISKCON Malaysia continues to shine as a beacon of spiritual opportunity and devotional service in Southeast Asia.

As winter approaches in many parts of the world — especially Europe, the US, Canada, and etc— New Godruma Farm Malaysia warmly invites international devotees to spend their winter holidays serving and volunteering in the tropics, surrounded by greenery, sacred cows, experience the joy of devotional service in the mode of goodness away from the stressful urban life.

Engage in Divine Seva: Cow Protection & Farming

Srila Prabhupada emphasized the importance of protecting cows and returning to a self-sufficient, agrarian way of life:
