The Divine Love Trip, is a deeply thoughtful saga of the devotional life and realizations of Samapriya devi dasi. In this book, she chronicles her spiritual journey through biography, poetry, prayers, realizations, scripture, and the words and pastimes of Srila Prabhupada. These many highly literate and very readable forms of spiritual expression are interwoven expertly as she reveals both her outward activities and her inner spiritual life from first meeting devotees, to her mature realizations of later years. Of particular interest were her pastimes and meetings with Srila Prabhupada, and her years of living in India’s Holy Dhamas. Additionally, her own unique story of coming to Krsna Consciousness is an adventure unto itself.
Although covered with a sincere and overwhelming humility, Samapriya’s spiritual advancement and realization shines forth through these pages. Such a sincere and totally dedicated devotee and disciple of Srila Prabhupada is rare, and we are blessed to have such a devotee as our friend and godsister.
