Narsimhadev Monthly Abhishek Update For 2023
Today the 28th of Sep, Sri Dham Mayapur will be hosting Narasimhadev Abhishek, along with special prayers to the Lord. Please take advantage of this day to offer prayers on behalf of your forefathers as Pitru Paskha begins tomorrow the 29th of Sep. The period from the full moon of Bhadrapada month to the new moon day of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month is called Pitru Paksha. For the peace of the souls of ancestors, there is a belief to perform Shraddha in Pitru Paksha. The person performing Shraddha during this time should pray to the Lord for a better destination for his ancestors and should offer food, fruits, and things as per the capacity and donate it to the deserving Brahmins. Simultaneously, the eighth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita is also read or heard. For the pleasure of Lord Narasimhadev and the persistent request from devotees and donors all around the world, this facility has been made available and will continue to run every month, the dates for this year are as follows:

Please join us every month to bathe the Lord of our hearts, it is a rare blessing, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of these blessings wholeheartedly. If we don’t seize such opportunities to serve the Lord and offer Him reverential services, then is it when we are caught up with the force of Life when our body is completely useless when it becomes very difficult to serve him how then can we serve him?
Make a committed effort every month to offer service to the Lord just as you would do to your family affairs, the Lord is giving so much mercy why not then take it to heart and be equipoised?
