Question: Krishna Consciousness Before Life's Sunset?

Gurudeva,
Namaste

I would like to ask the following questions:

I have an intense desire to awaken my original Krishna consciousness. But can it be done before the sunset of my life?

Is it a natural process to awaken my original Krishna consciousness?

If the original Krishna consciousness is eternal, full of knowledge and bliss, why is it that most of the people are after sense gratification? Is it due their karma from past lives?

What is the way-out in this life?

Regards, yours in yoga

Answer: Why Wait for Sunset?

Why wait for your life's sunset. Become fully Krishna conscious now. If you will fully dedicate yourself to strictly following the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita, you will surely awaken your original Krishna consciousness as soon as possible.

Reviving your Krishna consciousness is just as natural as waking up in the morning from a deep sleep.

The majority of people are after sense gratification like cats and dogs simply because of bad association. Any one who is associated with devotees will naturally be inspired to give up a life of wanton sense gratification and take to the sublime life of devotional service. Only a fool would choose a life of suffering over a sublime life of unlimited peace, love, and happiness.

The Vedic wisdom implores that the way out of this material existence is to take complete shelter of the bona fide spiritual master, who will then guide us how to regain our original, pure, transcendental identity.
