In the heart of Vrindavan, where the sacred whispers of devotion intertwine with the bustling rhythms of daily life, stands the inspiring Krishna Balaram Community Day School (KBCDS). The education project is run by its founder and Headmistress Jaya Dayini Devi Dasi, a disciple of Jayapataka Swami, whose vision and tenacity have propelled this independent initiative into a beacon of hope and enlightenment for the community.

Founded in 2016 as an independent endeavor by Jaya Dayini, KBCDS emerged from a deep-seated desire to offer more than conventional education. It was born out of a collective vision shared by a team of devoted individuals, each driven by a passion for serving the community and nurturing young minds. Together, they embarked on a journey to create a sanctuary of learning where the pursuit of knowledge would seamlessly intertwine with the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment.

Acknowledging Jaya Dayini’s dedication and qualifications as an educator, Pancagauda Dasa, the Temple President of Krishna Balarama Mandir at ISKCON Vrindavan, expressed admiration for her endeavors, especially staying on in Vrindavan on her own after the tragic passing of her lifelong pujari husband, HG Nrishinga Nitai Das. He emphasized the importance of independent initiatives like KBCDS in providing alternative educational opportunities. He commended Jaya Dayini for her resilience and commitment to the cause. “As Temple President, I am proud to witness the wonderful work that Jaya Dayini is doing with her independent effort at KBCDS,” Pancagauda stated, “Despite facing significant personal challenges, including the loss of her husband, she has demonstrated remarkable resilience and dedication to providing quality education to the youth of Vrindavan.”

Pancagauda further emphasized the management’s willingness to assist and support KBCDS in any way possible, highlighting their shared commitment to nurturing and empowering the next generation. He reiterated the importance of community-driven educational initiatives and expressed solidarity with Jaya Dayini Devi Dasi’s vision for KBCDS.
